A Response to Fortissax
Sort of
My Monday Release project is going along swimmingly. I still have far too many drafts that need to get out, and this response is kind of a waste of time, but my uninvited interlocutor put a lot of work into his essay, so I think it would be minimally courteous to respond. If you have read the piece, which I encourage everyone with some free time to do1, you may be expecting a torrent of invective, low brow ad hominem, and pettiness. I love all of these things, and you can get more than enough of that from me on Twitter, but I don’t really see the point here. This is all I will say in that vein: early twenty-somethings from gun-free cultures have not a single thing of substance to give to Amerikaners that we can’t get domestically. As a Closed-Borders Nationalist, I encourage all of my countrymen to Buy Domestic, whether it is interesting thoughts or silly bullshit.
My main contentions with the piece is that it combines No True Scotsman dynamics with Yeah-But characteristics. I get accused of being a “leftist” which is highly amusing, and I get a boatload of insults that kind of miss the mark2, but in terms of substance, there’s just nothing there that BAP and others haven’t done better. The Classics are great, they should be a foundational element of Neo-Occidental Culture after the Restoration, but they are not Holy Books, and they were never intended to be. The piece really boils down to Atheistic Materialism with Retvrn framing.
What is paganism? This is the only substantial question I distilled from the essay3. It is kind of a moving target when you talk to the Neopagans4 and their advocates. Rome is pagan, but the Aztecs are not. Christians do this too; they want to relish in the victories and high points then pretend the failures didn’t happen or don’t matter. Progressivism is a product of Protestantism with a worship of man-sans-God swapped in for Nature’s God. It is vile, destructive, and effective. It grew in the shadows of the Elite, was birthed into being during the managerial takeover, and it now infests the West. You can see the Protestant DNA pretty easily when you look closely: professors and journalists are pastors/priests, racism is Original Sin, spreading democracy is missionary work, fully realized equality is heaven. Any Christian that cannot or will not accept this is doomed to succumb to the mistakes that led to its rise.
I sidetracked myself. I define paganism as daemon worship. It’s not a very clean categorization, and I could not possibly care less. Nature has a God, one God, and all else is submitted or must submit to Him. That’s where it ends for me. My relationship with Nature’s God is my own, my own torture or elation as the days change with the seasons. I am not perfect, and I have never claimed to be. I do not have a deep theological underpinning, and I do not begrudge anyone that does. But I also have no interest in playing the Who Is Going To Heaven game, with Christians or anyone else. Maybe if I went to seminary, maybe if I was a monk… But I am not those things. I am a father, a man, a Noticer, and a [REDACTED] Christian. I am a grugg-brain when it comes to the spiritual plane of existence.
As referenced in my other piece talking about daemonology, you do not need to know what you are doing, or even believe in the rites you are practicing, to participate in spiritual warfare. Overwhelmingly, neopagans are on the side of the globalists, the managerial elite, the atheist materialists, the Atlanticists, the feminists, the sodomites. You can dig up some low follower count guy who isn’t, or point to some barely known book that doesn’t, but I have yet to encounter a Right Wing Wiccan, and even if I did I would have her screeching leftisms in 60 seconds or less5 . As it stands now, neopagans pose no threat, none whatsoever, to the Cathedral, the GAE, whatever you want to call it. Gay Race Communists love paganism6 or they are indifferent to it, or the larp at it behind closed doors. None of that indicates to me that they have anything to offer anyone on our side besides Divide & Conquer shillory dillory.
I took a bunch of notes and I was going to go through systematically, but I have other things I would rather talk about, and paganism is gay. I will post this stuff as an indicator of exiting the dialogue, but I strongly encourage every Neopagan and Fortissax fan to subscribe to my substack, leave comments about how I am wrong or stupid or provincial or suburban or urban or evil or twisted or diseased on every single post. You should also link it to your friends so they can leave comments and share it with their friends. That will really stick it to me!
…but there’s nothing novel in it. No building, no creativity, nothing new for anyone who is already read into the tired “Paganism is the real European religion!!1!” memeplex. He does talk about a lot of classics though.
He does that thing childless people do where they pretend having kids is this Accessory Choice decision, like buying a dog or wearing a T-Shirt, and this absolutely grinds my gears, but why take the bait? As Commoners, as Amerikaners, as humans elite or regular, the single greatest contribution we can ALL make is to have children, raise them right, keep our genes in the Human Tapestry, and provide our side, the Right Side, with reinforcements in the never-ending battle for the future. This is the minimum, the low bar. If you can’t reach it, something is wrong. Some can’t, and my heart breaks for them. Some won’t, and they are beneath pity. There are a rare few whose greatest contributions will be thought in the form of books or ideologies. Still more may do much by starting organizations and building or maintaining companies. The idea that raising children is a waste of time and/or money is spiritual homosexuality. Git gudd faggot.
There may be more, but I don’t really care.
Actual paganism is contingent on direct blood lineage because it is ancestor worship. The founders of the tribe become venerated deities, and the tribe members keep their memory alive by passing the rituals & rites down to their children. These lines were broken, and attempting to reinvigorate them without a coherent mythological re-construction (“I am the descendant of so-and-so, with blood and steel I shall renew the sacred pact!!!”) Neopaganism is just larping, always from within the confines of post-Christian, post-industrial societies, I might add, but I am sure that’s just a coincidence lmao.
I’ve noticed this with a lot of “conservative” Christians too, as well as “conservative” Canadians and “conservative” Europeans. In a case of extreme happenstance, they all don’t like guns, want walkable cities, believe that race is a social construct, and think that men and women are equal. Fascinating serendipity.
paganist/cultist/satanist is like liberal/progressive/communist - 3 words for the same creature

The regime counts both many churches and pagan larpers as allies. Religion isn’t a dividing line for obedience at this stage
