This map is a whitepill. With the exception of the gayest states in America, the practice of Open Carry is now very much the norm. For those of you that can’t pass a basic “Straight White Male American” test, “open carry” is a reference to the carrying of a firearm in a free and open configuration, most often on the waist in a holster but also on the hip, across the chest, or slung across the back. Open Carry is the traditional way to tote a firearm as you move through life doing the small things that make up the day. Can you imagine a cowboy carrying his big iron concealed under a petticoat or hoopskirt? Now, for an alternative thesis from a potential skirt wearer, here is a GWOT vet:
Kennedy is a stereotypical warrior for GAEness. He was Special with his forces, he did the MMA thing while it was profitable, he has a pricey little charter academy for adults that wish to get a tactical certificate, and he shills custom1 tactical gack for operators that operate operationally. He is one of the many compassionate conservatives in the Black Rifle Coffee Contingent: he uses his military career and sheep dog coded affectations to smuggle progressive bullshit by way of boring products at premium prices and pointless internet clout chasing. There are myriad things about these types of wankers that can be deconstructed, made fun of, or justifiably excoriated, but I want to focus on the “open carry is dumb” angle.
In gun toting circles, it is always preferable to carry your sidearm concealed. It is rare that you will encounter anyone advocating for Open Carry Kenny over Karen the Concealer2. There are scores of insults and epithets ascribed to Kenny by GunTube, GWOT culture, and Serious Hat Redditors in general: Kenny is obnoxious, Kenny can't read the room, Kenny just wants attention, Kenny doesn't know how to use it, Kenny is short in between, and the list goes on. Conversely, Karen is considered to be the best example of us. She is the gray man, the one you least suspect, the ever watchful eye hidden under perfect camouflage. All the cool kids with their Ford Raptors and a different sub compact for each day. This is not even up for debate: anyone who chooses to open carry over concealed is by every measure the lesser man, the LARPer, the loser.
It must be said that there are some good reasons to conceal your sidearm in certain situations. Subterfuge is a critical tool in the tool box, just like surprise and camouflage. But secret weapons, and skills or capacities for that matter, are at a major disadvantage when the goal is to compel by mere presence. This is why police wear uniforms and duty belts. There is a utilitarian aspect to having your tools readily available just inside the bubble of your workspace, but there are visual reasons too. Unmarked cop cars are good at catching people who can’t pay attention to antennas on cars, but the standard markings on a patrol car do more to forestall crime and violations than almost any other element of policing. The visual of uniformed and armed proxies of the regime inform everyone that there is a code and it will be enforced, and it does so in a very safe, peaceful, and efficient way.
If you are viewing an army on parade, and you see not a single weapon among them, would your first thought be "How amazing that they are able to conceal their artillery and missiles!" or would it be "These girl scouts have really broad shoulders?" Hollywood has done such a number on the White male mind that they think being honest, open, and up front is some kind of failing, or sign of weakness, or an indicator of low status. Imagine some military/MMA dweeb trying to tell you that showing your muscles is gay and all the cool guys conceal their tone. “If he’s showing his muscles, he probably doesn’t know how to use them…” This is laughable, and I assert that it’s the same for the carrying of firearms. We have begun the process of South Africanization in the United States. This is not a “down the road” thing, it is here. The police are hamstrung by policy and process because they have subjected themselves willingly, just like the US military, to a cabal of school marms and sodomites that seek to displace order and sew chaos. The simplest and easiest way to oppose Anarcho-Tyranny is Open Carry.
There is a spiritual dimension to this concept that is equally important. I have noticed that an embarrassing amount of GunTube is doing the same thing as Con Inc and McChristianity: they actively suppress the personal display of spiritual weaponry and manifestations of devotion. They love to get cross tattoos and truck decals, but in every other way they hide the faith they assert animates them, at least when the cameras are rolling or the offering plate is making the rounds. Every Republican candidate goes to church during the campaign season, but their sons are effeminate and their daughters have nose rings.
The only weapon that should be concealed is the one you want everyone to believe you do not have. As we rush headlong towards the great collapse of occidental primacy, the time has come for swords on belts, for the counting of heads, for harsh and awful honesty to be worn out in the open. An explicit promise, not a threat, that the bearer of iron knows what fucking time it is.
Open Carry your iron with the same grim certainty that you openly keep the Cross in heart and hearth. If you are afraid to do either, then you have some work to do3.
It’s all made in Vietnam, including the tags that say “Made In America”

We all have work to do.
